Pair of Smith’s Patent Infantry Colonel’s Shoulder Straps Featuring a Silver Eagle on Each

In over 50 years of collecting Civil War insignia, this is the first pair of Colonel straps that we have seen in the distinctive Smith style… it’s that rare.  Our late friend Jim Frasca had a Cavalry pair in this style, but this was the only Infantry pair that he had seen also.  Uncleaned, fine patina, for the advanced collector.
