State of Louisiana $3 Bill Dated Feb. 24th, 1862 – Printed on the Reverse of other Colorful Bank Notes!
This Louisiana note has printed on it, “Receivable for All Dues to the State & for Public Lands Twelve Months after a definitive Treaty of Peace between the Confederate States & the United States”. The note is for $3 from the “State of Louisiana, Baton Rough”.
On the reverse printed in blue ink from the Excelsior Bank of Holly Springs is a vignette of an Indian shooting an arrow. An interesting note in fine condition.
