5TH REGIMENT EXCELSIOR BRIGADE I.D. DISC LISTING 8 BATTLES!
Robert McPherson enlisted on June 1st, 1861 as a Wagoneer in the famous 5th Excelsior Brigade. Interestingly, “Wagon Master” is imprinted right on the I.D. The I.D. is in excellent condition retaining a high portion of its silver plate and listing the following 8 battles:
Yorktown, Williamsburg, Fair Oaks, 7 Days Before Richmond, Bristow Station, Bull Run, Chantilly, Fredericksburg
