Original Civil War Cavalry Captain’s Shoulder Straps
Definitely Civil War period and not the more commonly found post-war example. The straps are double false embroidered with yellow velvet background. They measure 3 ¾ x 1 ½ inches. Originally sold at Heritage Auction on December 14th, 2014.
