“Headquarters U.S. Forces, Johnson’s Island and Sandusky” – Document Furnishing Transportation Home

This document dated November 16th, 1864 states that Captain J. J. McClellan, Assistant Quarter Master U.S.A. will furnish transportation for “One enlisted man on furlough to be at home on 8 days November 1864 to Baltimore, Maryland.” “By Command of Lt. Col. Fred. S. Palmer B. R. C.” and signed “J. H. Huntingon, Capt. & A. A. A. G.” 

Condition is excellent and with that very cool heading, a nice piece for display.
